How Do I Change My WIFI Modem Name and Password?

In order to change the default Wi-Fi name or SSID, you must enter the settings panel of the modem or router. In this tutorial, our modem is Huawei model 84245X, but you can do it in almost the same way for other devices, so without further explanation, let's get to the point and change the name and password of the Wi-Fi network we want.

1️⃣ Enter your browser and enter the IP address of the modem or router.

2️⃣ Enter your username and password, or if you haven't entered it yet, enter the default value and click the "Login" button. (Usually it is admin for both User and Password fields)

3️⃣After entering the settings panel, look for Wi-Fi settings, this section is usually located in the "WLAN" section.

4️⃣ After entering the wireless network settings section, you can change the name of your network in the "SSID Name" section and enter the new password in the "WPA PreSharedKey" section. Finally, click the "Apply" button to change the Wi-Fi name and password.
