What is the Best WIFI Encryption Type?

Your Wi-Fi access can be encrypted with one of the following encryption methods:

• WEP(Wired Equivalent Privacy)
• WPA(Wi-Fi Protected Access)
• WPA2(Wi-Fi Protected Access II)
• WPA3(Wi-Fi Protected Access III)

WEP encryption protocol is the simplest type of Wi-Fi protocol, which can be easily hacked with programs like AirCrack.

The WPA protocol is also an email protocol and relatively better than the WEP protocol for choosing a WiFi password, which can be selected in two structures, WPA Enterprise and WPA Personal. But by spending time, this type of encryption cannot be entered by hackers.

The WPA2 protocol is the second version of Wi-Fi network encryption, which works in the form of two algorithms, AES and TKIP, and is more secure than the previous structure.

The WPA3 protocol is the latest encryption structure for Wi-Fi networks, which has been presented on modems and routers since 2019, and has the highest level of security among Wi-Fi network encryption algorithms.

But the interesting point is that all Wi-Fi passwords can be penetrated by having strong tools and a dictionary of many passwords. However, there are ways to prevent hackers from entering the network even with a password, which we discussed in another blog.
